Some people are not comfortable buying weed online because they don’t quite understand how it works, or they think it’s a scam. Luckily, I am here to clear up any misunderstandings. Here are the most common misconceptions people have about buying weed online.
It’s not Legal
Buying weed online is actually perfectly legal, as long as you are buying through a site that is authorized to sell you weed and other goodies. Also, you have to be in a legal state. If you live in Kansas and were planning on ordering some weed from, say Colorado, then you can throw that plan out the window Any online dispensary that you are buying through has to go through a loooot of legal hoops before they are allowed to go forward with selling their product. You can rest assured that what you are doing is perfectly legal.
It’s not Safe
When people think of buying cannabis online, they usually picture buying from some shady dude on Craigslist, who ends up taking your money and scamming you. You know, a drug deal. Buying cannabis online is perfectly safe, again as long as you are buying from an online dispensary. Your information will not be stolen and/or sold, or used against you in anyway. Buying online is actually more discreet than the alternative.

They’ll Deliver Anywhere
Surprisingly, a lot of people think that when you buy cannabis online it doesn’t matter if you live in a legal state or not, they will deliver to you. This is definitely not the case. Again, if you don’t live in a state where cannabis is legal for recreational or medical use, then an online dispensary will absolutely not deliver to you. That would be breaking the law obviously, and such a violation would cause them to lose their license and get arrested. Sorry people who live in states where cannabis isn’t legal. Your day will come soon. This is why you should get involved in your state’s legalization effort.
You Can Maybe Pay With a Card
One of the most convenient things about online shopping is your ability to enter your credit or debit card information, place your order, and wait for your purchase to be brought to your door. Buying weed online has all the convenience of regular online shopping, except for using your debit card of course. It’s not because dispensaries don’t want to take your card, they can’t. Cannabis is still illegal under federal law, and this stops banks from doing business with dispensaries, growers, etc. So, how are you supposed to pay? In cash usually. Some dispensaries are starting to accept crypto currencies through the use of apps. It’s not as inconvenient as you think. As long as you have the cash when your goods are delivered, you are good to go!
There’s nothing wrong or unsafe with buying cannabis online, as long as you are buying from the right people! Never ever buy weed off of a site like Craiglist, or through social media like Facebook is asking to get busted. Be smart. School’s out!
